Bump Essentials puts practical support straight into the hands of new and expecting mothers in New York City. Each week, 10 women pick up a Bump Essentials bag in Midtown Manhattan, filled with the items families need most in pregnancy and the first weeks with a new baby. That is 40 women a month and 480 women over the year. Each bag costs $100, so $48,000 supplies a full year. Every gift, large or small, means one less thing a mother has to worry about.

Bump Movement brings pregnant women together for weekly movement classes in a supportive community, led in New York City by our instructor Justine. Each cohort welcomes 30 women and runs for a month, so over a year 12 cohorts will support 360 women. Every woman also receives a Bump Movement bag of essentials. Your gift covers the real cost of the program: $2,500 for the instructor for each cohort, $500 a week for our class space, and $100 for each woman's bag. That is $92,000 for a full year, or about $256 per woman. Once this first year is funded, our next step is to add a second class day each week so even more women can join. Every gift, large or small, helps a mother move through pregnancy feeling strong, connected and supported.
