Help Get Instruments Into The Hands Of Students!

Music Is First! is growing, and we're excited to bring more children into the experience of making music. With every new classroom comes a new opportunity—and a very practical need: instruments.

We’re building instrument kits for all of our classrooms so students can learn through playing, experimenting, creating, and making music together. If you'd like to be part of putting instruments into the hands of students at Mission Bay, Sunnyside, and our network of classrooms in the Bay Area, make donation today.

Our goal is to raise $2,000 to make sure every classroom has the tools it needs for students to play, explore, and make music together.

You can help us build those classroom Kits:

$25 — Add to the Music Kit
Helps us purchase smaller instruments and classroom music-making materials like shakers, and rhythm sticks

$50 — Put an Instrument in a Classroom
Helps provide larger instruments students can immediately use during Music Is First! programming like drums

$100 — Build the Collection
Helps us add several instruments and expand what students can explore

$250 — Equip a Classroom
Makes a significant contribution toward building a complete classroom instrument collection includes all the instruments needed for a classroom of 20 students
