A Message from Delilah
Hi, I’m Delilah! I started playing volleyball in seventh grade and earned a spot on my high school varsity team as a freshman. Now I'm a sophomore playing my second varsity season and recently earned a spot on the 16-1 B team for SC Rockstar volleyball club, which was just named a top 10 club in the nation.
My journey to Rockstar began when I met Coach Ghie on a flight home from a Las Vegas tournament. We talked about volleyball the entire flight, including finding my “why,” and I began training with him soon after.
Volleyball has become a huge part of my life. Rockstar is 33 miles from home, and my entire family is committed to helping me see how far I can take this. My goals are to keep developing, earn a 17-1 spot next year, and hopefully play college volleyball one day while studying astrobiology.
Why We Fundraise
Volleyball is more than a sport for our young athletes. Volleyball builds confidence, focus, a sense of pride, work ethic, and team camaraderie. Many of these young athletes have big goals and dreams to play at the collegiate level and beyond, so participating in club level sports plays a huge role in their lives as athletes, teammates, and young women.
By donating today, your donation goes towards helping athletes like us to help cover club dues and other expenses related to our participation. No donation is too small and together, we are working to show our support for our young athletes!
