Year-End Love for Bobby Jo and Pets Like Her

As we near the end of another year, we’re reminded of how much love and kindness can change lives—like it did for Bobby Jo.
Bobby Jo is a 3-year-old cat who was recently diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a progressive and often fatal disease. When she came to us, she had lost so much weight, was lethargic, and couldn’t use her back legs. Her future seemed bleak.
But thanks to a newer treatment and the support of our Community Love program, Bobby Jo’s story took a turn for the better. After just a week on her new medication, her mom shared this incredible update:
"It is a miracle. She is using her legs again. Before, she would drag them. She looked so helpless. I couldn’t help her if it wasn’t for you and your people stepping in, and I am forever grateful."
This is the kind of love and hope your generosity brings—not just to Bobby Jo, but to pets and families across the country who rely on our programs to stay together during life’s hardest moments.
As we wrap up the year, we invite you to be a part of this work in whatever way feels right for you. Here are some ways you can help:
- Make a donation to our Community Love program to help pets like Bobby Jo get the care they need.
- Share Bobby Jo’s story with your community to spread awareness.
- Volunteer your time or skills to support special needs pets at your local rescue or shelter.
Your support, no matter how big or small, keeps our work alive. Together, we can ensure that pets like Bobby Jo have the chance to thrive and stay with the families who love them.
With gratitude and endless love,
Stacy and the Lil BUB Family
