Waffle is a sweet kitten that was born on May 5, 2022. 
He was very small when he was born and only recently reached 5 pounds!

The rescue caring for Waffle knew he needed some extra care and after a visit to the University of Missouri, he has been diagnosed with a sliding hiatal hernia where his sphincter between his esophagus and stomach stays open causing him to vomit and regurgitates food.

When he doesn’t feel sick, he is a sweet loving kitten.
He celebrated his first birthday just a few months ago and now finally weighs enough to have surgery to help correct his condition!

Cats like Waffle need extra love and care to find their forever homes. We know Waffle deserves that care and we're hoping to raise $4,000 to cover the costs related to Waffle's surgery and aftercare.
