That’s why we partner with amazing groups like Four Winds Pet Pantry, which helps make pet care accessible to low-income families by offering free pet food and essential supplies.

But today, we want to tell you about someone very special.

Meet Pico:

Pico is a tiny cat with a huge heart—and a few big hurdles. She was found outside as a kitten in the cold, and the kind people who rescued her quickly realized something wasn’t quite right. Her back legs wobbled, part of her tail didn’t work, and she had trouble with the litter box.

Despite everything, Pico was affectionate, brave, and full of life. They tried everything to help her—but eventually, due to her urinary incontinence and ongoing medical needs, they made the heartbreaking decision to surrender her to one of our trusted partners.

Since then, Pico has captured every heart in the cat lounge with her spunky charm and joyful spirit. She’s been diagnosed with a congenital condition that affects her coordination and bladder function—and while we may not find an adopter anytime soon, we’re committed to giving Pico all the love and care she deserves, for as long as she needs it.

Pico’s medical needs are ongoing. From specialized care and supplies to a possible visit with a neurologist, her costs are growing—but so is our commitment to her.
