So happy to support you and this work on your birthday! Here's a future where no one is ever silenced...

This year for my birthday, I’m raising funds for Lift Our Voices.

If I can raise $10,000, LOV be able to connect with over 100,000 young workers through a new AI tool—helping them understand their workplace rights and navigate the paperwork they’re handed on day one of a new job. It’s about making sure they know they have options, a voice, and the ability to advocate for a safe work environment.

Let’s educate and inspire the next generation to stand up for themselves and others, and to help create safer, more transparent workplaces for everyone!

If you’re able, please consider donating to my campaign in honor of my birthday. Every contribution makes a real impact and I really hope to get at least 25 new people giving to this incredible movement we have built!

Educating the Next Generation to Create Safer Workplaces

Hey everyone! Alyssa and Piper here. Recently, Piper and I were having a conversation at a women’s college basketball game about her future. Piper, who just recently turned seven years old, leaned over to me and said ‘someday I might want to work at a university or at a company that would allow me to be around basketball all the time because I love basketball!‘ It was in that moment I realized that my little girl would someday be an employee and I wanted her to be informed and ready for that passion-driven career. For her to do that, I want to make sure that her first job is both a positive and safe experience no matter what industry or sector or sport or environment she goes into. Lift Our Voices has taught me over the last year that it is so critical for first time employees to know the truth within the paperwork that you sign On a new job. Hidden in that paperwork can be mechanisms to silence you- even if you are discriminated against, hurt, harassed or assaulted- on the job. I want my little one to build a passionate career in a world where all company policy is designed not to silence employees but to support them. Join us in fundraising for Lift Our Voices new LOV AI tool this Valentines Day - a tool that will help young people in their first job understand and make good decisions about the paperwork that they are signing (with a simple upload!) and create careers that they love in environments that they feel valued! Consider a $44 gift (Pipers age (7) plus mine (37)! ) ❤️

Help Young People Feel Safer at Their First Job

LOV's mission is simple: to transform the workplace by eradicating silencing mechanisms like forced arbitration clauses and NDAs.

Lift Our Voices is transforming the American workplace, making it safer and more equitable for everyone. By organizing communities to change laws and policies, advocating for survivors, and promoting awareness for a safer and more inclusive workplace environment, we are rewriting the rules to ensure every worker has a voice.
