Support the Grassroot Leaders to drive local transformation!

What happens when we STOP overlooking the person who ALREADY knows the way?

Five (5) years ago we began to ask ourselves this question: We realized that most leadership programs spend more funds, and time to reach fewer people. Life Bloom Services International (LBSI) was on that path for many years before then. The impact of Covid 19 pandemic and the shrinking funding support for non profits on community transformation initiatives needed to shift, to focus more on sustainable locally driven models, which only the communities know how best to design: with support. We have trained and dispatched 62 Para Counsellors who offer psychological first aid to community members experiencing distress and trauma, 12 Para Legal experts who unpack the basic laws for communities and create awareness on referral pathways, Mentors who support their peers navigate threatening seasons and rise above with more self power.

Since then, Life Bloom multiplies community leadership. Transformation is evident. We don’t graduate leaders. We sustainably multiply them. The communities identify and forward their "ready" leaders for our 8 months training/mentorship program. In the on going cycle, 6 Professional Mentors/Coaches are mentoring 16 Grassroot leaders who in turn are mentoring 223 other grassroot leaders in their circles. No extra Budget!

The 2nd cycle of 16 grassroot leaders will be launched in September 2026.

It will cost us $450 for each of the 16 Grassroot (Community) Leaders for the 8 months project as they are mentored on how to mentor 15 mentees each. A monitoring and evaluation plan is enshrined in the project to measure progress, improve the program and lift best practices for sharing and improving on next cycle.

An external evaluator remarked: “The Program is Mentorship-driven, adaptive model is not only replicable but offers a blueprint for organizations seeking sustainable change.”
