Our mission is to alleviate hunger by obtaining and distributing food and other essentials in the City of Leesburg and adjacent communities. Board of Directors - The Board of Directors of Leesburg Food Bank is a committed, passionate, diverse group of citizens dedicated to the mission of ending hunger in our community. They assist in guiding the organization through effective stewardship of policy and fiduciary oversight. Their support and contribution is invaluable to our efforts. Staff - Led by our CEO, the dedicated staff of the Food Bank is an integral part of meeting the challenge of providing food to families and individuals at risk of hunger in the City of Leesburg and surrounding Communities. Our staff, including the Board of Directors, is all volunteers. Leesburg Food Bank has no salaried or paid employees. Donations - YOUR DONATIONS keep Leesburg Food Bank operating! The Food Bank could not function without the donors who so generously support our mission of eliminating hunger in our community. Every dollar contributed is applied in one of two areas, facility (building) operations or purchase of non-donated food items.
