LUNAVA – Because no woman should face menopause alone
- Raised
- $61,837
- Goal
- $70,631
💛 Menopause is one of the most biologically intense transitions in a woman’s life — yet it is one of the least supported.
Millions of women suffer in silence with insomnia, anxiety, depression, and brain fog, often while raising families, working full-time, or caring for aging parents.
In Latin America, access to psychological support during menopause is almost nonexistent, especially for low-income women.
This program ensures that women do not have to navigate this stage alone.
👩🏽🦳 Who Will Benefit
Primary beneficiaries:
- Women aged ~40–60 in peri-, meno-, and post-menopause
- Especially low- and middle-income women
- Women with untreated anxiety, depressive symptoms, or sleep disturbances
Secondary beneficiaries:
- Children (improved maternal mental health)
- Partners and families
- Workplaces (reduced absenteeism, improved productivity)
- Health systems (reduced long-term burden of untreated mental health issues)
In Latin America:
- Mental health access is limited.
- Hormone therapy is not accessible to many.
- Menopause is still stigmatized and under-discussed.
This intervention fills a massive care gap.
