Laboratoria's Scholarship Fund provides scholarships for women in **Activa tu Carrera**, Laboratoria's program that helps women in Latin America build quality careers. Every donation keeps the program free, so cost is never the reason a talented woman can't take part.

Every woman who joins Activa tu Carrera brings the talent and drive to build a quality career; but talent alone doesn't always opens the door. Through the Scholarship Fund, people who believe in women's potential make sure that door stays open.

**What is Activa tu Carrera?**

Laboratoria's Activa tu Carrera is Latin America's leading professional development program for women. We combine real skills, honest coaching, and a community of peers and mentors who actually show up.

**Since 2014,** Laboratoria has helped more than **14,000** women in Latin America. **73%** of placement rate and **3x** average increase in their income.

Uplifting unemployed women with skills, confidence, and connections to access quality jobs and thrive in the AI era.

**At [Laboratoria](https://laboratoria.la/en/quienes-somos/sobre-laboratoria), we uplift women from low-income backgrounds to gain the confidence, skills and connections to access quality jobs and thrive in the AI era.**

After 12 years of incredible impact as a coding bootcamp through which we trained over **14,000 women, placed 73%** of them in quality jobs in Latin America’s major markets and saw **3x increase in their income**, we have recently pivoted to a model more focused on personal and group career coaching to unleash women’s economic potential. We evolved strategically in response to AI’s impact on the labor market, are seeing impressive results from our new model and plan to scale significantly in the coming years.

*"When you graduate from Laboratoria, everything that was extinguished inside you is reignited. I applied for jobs I never would have dared to before. And I got one — at one of the biggest companies — which has allowed me to experience a new reality and see my potential in something tangible."* — Montserrat Lira
