King County Sexual Assault Resource Center (KCSARC), a nonprofit serving all of King County, provides a 24-hour Resource Line, trauma-specific,evidence-based therapy, legal advocacy, family services, and sexual violence prevention education.

KCSARC has served the community for 50 years, providing critical services to thousands of children, families, and adults. We are the largest and most comprehensive sexual assault resource center in Washington State, and provide programming in English and Spanish. We provide legal advocacy, counseling and support services to thousands of children, families and adults in our community. We work to empower women, children and men who have been sexually victimized and assist them in making the transition from victim to survivor and beyond.

KCSARC’s purpose is to alleviate, as much as possible, the trauma of sexual assault for victims and their families. We give voice to victims, their families and community; we create change in beliefs, attitudes and behaviors about violence; we instill courage for people to speak out about sexual assault.

While KCSARC works to facilitate healing for survivors, we are committed to the elimination of sexual assault. We believe that by providing people with the tools to identify and confront the conditions which support and perpetuate sexual violence, harassment and abuse, we will end sexual assault in our community.
