INTERSOS expanded its intervention to West Darfur during the second half of 2024 to respond to the world’s most devastating humanitarian crisis. We assist local health centres in ensuring access to life-saving services, including the treatment of acute malnutrition, provision of medicines and medical equipment, training and support for doctors and health workers, as well as hygiene and sanitation services. 	

In November 2025, INTERSOS focused its emergency response to support people fleeing from the city of El-Fasher, providing medical first aid, psychological support, with particular attention to victims of gender-based violence, and ensuring distribution of hygiene and kitchen kits.
