Help us fund the #IBRO2027 Travel Grant Program and support early-career researchers from around the world attending the 12th IBRO World Congress of Neuroscience, taking place September 13–16, 2027, in Cape Town, South Africa.
The congress brings together researchers from across the globe to share discoveries, exchange ideas, and build international collaborations. For many early-career neuroscientists, attending a global congress like this can be a turning point in their careers.
It is an opportunity to present their work, receive feedback from experts, discover new approaches, and connect with future collaborators. The impact often continues long after the congress itself, helping researchers strengthen neuroscience in their home countries and build lasting global networks.
However, many talented researchers are unable to attend international conferences because of travel and accommodation costs. Through the #IBRO2027 Travel Grant Program, IBRO aims to help ensure that scientific exchange is not limited by geography or financial barriers.
IBRO believes scientific talent exists everywhere. By supporting early-career neuroscientists from diverse backgrounds and regions, we can help create a more inclusive, connected, and globally representative neuroscience community.
100% of funds received will go directly toward supporting travel grants. IBRO does not deduct administrative costs.
