Intaction and the Health Equality Campaign are dedicated to advancing the health, well-being, and bodily autonomy of boys and men. Together, our work serves as an important reminder that men's health begins in infancy and that every individual deserves the fundamental right to make informed decisions about their own body.

Every boy deserves the opportunity to grow up with his natural, intact body protected. Every man deserves the right to decide for himself whether to undergo permanent bodily alterations. Bodily autonomy is not merely a legal principle—it is a cornerstone of lifelong physical, psychological, and sexual well-being.

When healthy infants are subjected to non-therapeutic circumcision before they are capable of consent, that autonomy is permanently taken away. Protecting boys from unnecessary genital cutting is therefore a men's health issue, a human rights issue, and increasingly a public policy issue.

Through education, public awareness, legislative advocacy, and engagement with lawmakers and health agencies, including Health and Human Services, Intaction and the Health Equality Campaign work to protect the bodily autonomy, health, and human rights of boys and men. We advocate for evidence-based policies that respect informed consent, promote health equity, and ensure that future generations are afforded the same bodily rights and protections that society increasingly recognizes for all people.

As policymakers continue to examine whether taxpayers should subsidize medically unnecessary procedures, our organizations remain committed to advancing reforms that prioritize health, autonomy, human dignity, and responsible stewardship of public resources.
