About “Sim, Eu Sou do Meio”

About the “Raízes do Meio” Kitchen
The organization’s kitchen operates through three main fronts:
- Solidarity Meals Prepares meals for over 2,500 people facing hunger, as well as snacks for participants in sports, cultural, educational, and income-generation workshops offered by the organization.
- Socio-Productive Inclusion A training space for hundreds of women per year, offering bakery and pastry courses based on the “Sou Empreendedora, Sou Mulher” methodology, promoting financial autonomy.
- Social Business Operates a catering service contracted by public and private partners, generating income for women in vulnerable situations and bridging professional training with real income opportunities.
Kitchen Renovation Project -
A renovation project was developed to adapt the kitchen to the building’s ground floor, with a total area of 92 m². The project was designed by architect Marina Lage, with support from civil engineering consultants. The new layout will serve both training purposes and social business production.
