O&R Fundraiser for GiveDirectly

GiveDirectly gives cash directly to people living in poverty, with no strings attached. Your donation empowers families to choose for themselves how best to improve their own lives. Cash can be delivered directly to recipients through mobile money, without shipping costs or middle-men, and allows people to spend it on what they need most.

Since 2009, GiveDirectly has delivered more than $1 billion in cash to over 2 million people living in poverty. Its approach is simple: people in poverty deserve the dignity to choose for themselves how best to improve their lives.

Please consider supporting that mission with a gift to GiveDirectly.

We will match donations made through this fundraiser up to a total of $1000. This matching commitment is additional to the charitable giving we would otherwise have made this year: any amount matched here is money we would not otherwise have donated.
