The CCC Legacy Fund: Supporting the Next Generation of Stories

My Mother, Cecelia C. Caruso, spent her life as a genealogist and family historian. She understood a fundamental truth: a story unrecorded and unpreserved is a legacy at risk. She taught me that our history is held in our hands, in our voices, and in the courage it takes to write it down.
In honor of her life and the launch of my book, Holding Time: In the Middle of Always - the somatic practice that was the vehicle for writing our mother-daughter story, I am building an Army of Stories. While my work focuses on preserving the legacy of mothers and daughters today, this fund is dedicated to the future.
We are partnering with Girls Write Now to support mentorship and writing resources to the next generation of female storytellers. When we fund a young writer, we aren't just helping her find her voice, we are ensuring that her legacy is never lost.
