Garden Center Services is a Chicago nonprofit that has provided services for adults with intellectual disabilities since 1956. 

Garden Center Services was established in 1956 as a grassroots effort to support children with developmental disabilities and their families. What started as an organization run entirely from a space above the garage at a local high school has blossomed into a multi-program agency that today serves over 150 people in a wide range of community living arrangements, skill development programs, and paid work opportunities in their communities.
