Who We Are:
The Odontoruteros Foundation is a Chilean nonprofit organization founded by Lorena and Felipe, two dedicated dentists with over 20 years of experience. We aim to bridge the gap in dental care access for underserved communities across Chile.
What We Do:
We provide free dental services to marginalized populations, focusing on remote and rural areas with limited access to dental care. Our mobile clinics offer comprehensive treatments including restorations, cleanings, extractions, sealants, and fluoride treatments. We also conduct educational sessions to promote dental hygiene and preventative care.
Our Impact:
• Treated over 1,500 patients across 19 temporary clinics.
• Traveled 5,900 kilometers in a 14-month journey.
• Established sustainable, portable dental clinics with the support of local communities.
Upcoming Project:
In 2025, we are excited to launch a new project on Easter Island (Rapa Nui), offering more than 2,800 slots to serve the community. This initiative will continue our mission of providing essential dental care to those who need it most.
