Focus for Health Foundation
Focus for Health addresses the structures within our society that create and perpetuate health inequality.
Since 2015, Focus for Health Foundation has provided funding to organizations addressing health disparities, racial justice, criminal justice reform, and child sex abuse. Founded by Barry Segal, FFH believes in empowering small, grassroots organizations to challenge and transform systems that perpetuate poverty, illness, and obstruct access to a dignified quality of life.
We are focused on correcting the systemic injustices that prevent people from remaining healthy and happy. Our expansive approach to health addresses wealth distribution, racial exclusion, gender inequality, political and tax reform, and sex abuse. The most fundamental aspect that determines individual health is the matrix of interactions within which individuals function on a daily basis. Establishing and protecting social equality is the unifying thread to our comprehensive array of actions.

Barry's lasting legacy is his ongoing philanthropic work. If you would like to celebrate his life, you can contribute to the causes that he held dear, such as combatting child sexual abuse, advancing criminal justice reform, and addressing social determinants of health. Funds raised will be disbursed to Focus for Health grantee organizations.
