Focolare Foundation

Rooted in Jesus’ prayer, “may they all be one” (John 17:21), the Focolare Foundation, as an integral part of the Focolare Movement, inspires donations and provides grants that support the Movement’s mission in North America and worldwide. We are dedicated to fostering unity in diversity and driving positive, transformative change through collaborative initiatives, ensuring the long-term sustainability of the Focolare Movement’s work for a more peaceful and united world.

Our Mission and Core Activities

The Focolare Foundation serves as a catalyst for change, providing financial support, resources, expertise, and capacity-building to empower communities and organizations while amplifying the impact of grassroots initiatives. This approach drives meaningful outreach and supports projects such as Focolare Media, the Focolare Forum for Dialogue and Culture, and numerous other national and international initiatives.

Our work is guided by four core activities:

• Partnerships and Initiatives: We advance the Movement’s mission by forging alliances and supporting initiatives focused on peacebuilding and dialogue.
• Development and Fundraising: We cultivate meaningful relationships with donors and partners, fostering generosity that transcends individual interests and promotes active collaboration toward a more united world.
• Investments: By strengthening financial resources through fund development and strategic partnerships, we ensure sustainable growth with transparency and accountability.
• Grantmaking: Our grantmaking process is currently being developed to provide effective and impactful funding aligned with our mission. Through a structured, tiered approach, we aim to support key initiatives that drive positive change.
