Can Jeremy Rourke do another performance of "I'll be Around-30 years of Artist Television Access?" So everyone can see why this place matters so much?!

I wandered into an Other Cinema show in 1990 and it was a transformative experience. ATA/Other Cinema has always stood opposed to the gross and creepy dominant narratives of the culture, and it would be a huge loss to San Francisco if it went away.

I lived, worked, created and thrived at ATA for 8 years from the day we first moved into 992 in 1987. This donation is in memory of Lise Swenson and Arda Ishkanian. ATA must live. Or else.

Thank you ATA and Craig for screening my short film, From the Same Family: An Intimate View of Globalization when I first moved to S.F., it meant so much to a young filmmaker. I'm happy to contribute, thank you! 

Their website says it all, but I’ll add ATA was a key part of the art and film scene when I started hanging out in the city in the 80s. SF will lose a huge part of its cultural heart without ATA.

This is San Francisco to the core. Our Cinematheque is also at risk of going dark. Keep the lights on.

Artists’ Television Access is a San Francisco-based, artist-run, non-profit organization that cultivates and promotes culturally-aware, underground media and experimental art. Estonian Arts Centre (EAC) is the charity associated with KESKUS International Estonian Centre being built in the heart of Toronto, North America's 4th largest city.  EAC promotes development of KESKUS in Toronto in which to further its charitable objects, and these include promotion and support of the arts, multiculturalism, preservation of literary, musical and visual arts and the welfare and education of artists.

KESKUS will be a dynamic hub showcasing Estonian heritage and promoting Estonian innovation. It will be a vibrant gathering place for Estonians of all generations and backgrounds to connect, celebrate, and share Estonian culture and achievements with each other and the world. It is scheduled to open in 2026

Women of Color Unite (WOCU) is a social action non-profit organization focusing on fair access, fair treatment and fair pay for women of color in all aspects of the entertainment and media industries.  This organization works towards these goals by creating self-sustaining long-term programs for:  Facilitating fair hiring practices; Fostering a more inclusive and diverse workplace environment; Promoting access for excluded content creators; Expanding audiences represented by those excluded content creators; Raise funds for WOCU to produce their own content; Hold events, seminars, workshops, panels and summits to get more women of color hired, fund their projects and distribute their content; Work with additional organizations to develop analytics of under-represented marginalized groups to better identify their needs; and, Help companies incubate talent and integrate them into their work force.
