Before I share Amy’s journey, I want to tell you about a powerful new way to help as the year comes to a close. Through Every.org, Feral Care is now able to accept stock donations.
**  No capital gains. No fees. Just more help reaching cats in need.**

When you donate a share of appreciated stock, Feral Care receives the full current value. You skip capital gains tax entirely and get a charitable deduction for the full fair market value, no matter what you originally paid for it. One old share can make an outsized impact for the cats that rely on us.

Every day we take in cats who need urgent help — vet care, hospice support, behavior work, spay/neuter, and more. As a small 501(c)(3) with no outside funding, we do the work few others can. “It takes a village” is our truth: some people give time, some give resources, and together we make life kinder for the animals who have no one else.
**  Amy’s story: Amy came from a hoarding/backyard‑breeding situation, one of five kittens labeled as Chausies. She was the only survivor of her litter despite bottle‑feeding and vet care. A foster took her home on a whim, knowing she might not make it. They fed her organ meats, raw food, and goat’s milk until she grew strong enough to eat on her own. When she recovered, their resident cats welcomed her, and to everyone’s surprise she blossomed — big, healthy, and full of life. Now nine months old, Amy is thriving in the home of the foster family who couldn’t let her go. **
One share. More care. All thanks to you.
