The Feral Care Sanctuary is on five acres of a peaceful, tree-lined property in Bothell, WA. We are a private foundation 501(c)3 non-profit  relying on generous donor support, volunteers, and caring staff to provide shelter, food, veterinary care, and socialization to our feline friends.

It is home to over 100 feral and domestic cats left behind or otherwise unadoptable. The housing structure is a large, secure, and free-roaming haven for the cats. There are plenty of places to climb and explore, bask in the sunshine in the outside space, play on a cat tree, hide up in the rafters, or escape inside one of our four large heated cat houses for a warm nap. A secure fence protects the Sanctuary and offers amazing views of the outdoors and entertaining wildlife, including birds, rabbits, horses, and the occasional coyote! The cathedral roof covers the entire Sanctuary, which keeps all our feline friends dry year-round.

At the Feral Care Sanctuary, we feed the highest quality diet of canned raw and fresh foods, lots of treats, raw goat milk (from Snohomish County), and clean water from our underground spring. We monitor the cat’s wellbeing and administer vet care as need.

Amy's Journey

Before I share Amy’s journey, I want to tell you about a powerful new way to help as the year comes to a close. Through Every.org, Feral Care is now able to accept stock donations. **  No capital gains. No fees. Just more help reaching cats in need.** When you donate a share of appreciated stock, Feral Care receives the full current value. You skip capital gains tax entirely and get a charitable deduction for the full fair market value, no matter what you originally paid for it. One old share can make an outsized impact for the cats that rely on us.   Every day we take in cats who need urgent help — vet care, hospice support, behavior work, spay/neuter, and more. As a small 501(c)(3) with no outside funding, we do the work few others can. “It takes a village” is our truth: some people give time, some give resources, and together we make life kinder for the animals who have no one else. **  Amy’s story: Amy came from a hoarding/backyard‑breeding situation, one of five kittens labeled as Chausies. She was the only survivor of her litter despite bottle‑feeding and vet care. A foster took her home on a whim, knowing she might not make it. They fed her organ meats, raw food, and goat’s milk until she grew strong enough to eat on her own. When she recovered, their resident cats welcomed her, and to everyone’s surprise she blossomed — big, healthy, and full of life. Now nine months old, Amy is thriving in the home of the foster family who couldn’t let her go. **   One share. More care. All thanks to you.

This mission is deeply important and those who are the hands-on angels for innocent animals need our help. These people are mostly unpaid and they do the work I can’t do. Supporting them is a way to share in their efforts.

Pocket is one of sweetest cats I had the pleasure of fostering, and the Tilt and Pocket duo is unmatched! Hoping they can get reunited quickly ❤️
