Bring Classical Music Beyond the Concert Hall

Great music should not be limited by the walls of a concert hall.

Through Beyond the Concert Hall, the Foundation for Classical and African Art Music brings classical and African art music directly into the places where people live, gather, learn, and build community.

We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the beauty and power of live music—whether or not they regularly attend traditional concert venues. By presenting performances in libraries, churches, parks, community spaces, and other accessible settings, we create opportunities for audiences to encounter extraordinary music in familiar and welcoming environments.

Your gift helps us pay professional musicians fairly, produce free and accessible performances, build community partnerships, and introduce audiences to music and composers they may rarely have the opportunity to hear.

For some, it may be a return to music they already love. For others, it may be their first live classical music experience. And for many, it will be an opportunity to discover the richness of African art music alongside the broader classical tradition.

Help us take the music beyond the concert hall—and bring it into the heart of our communities.
