Project Summary:
Our movement is based on our belief that we need exceptional leadership on different levels of the system to tackle the educational challenges in Colombia. Being part of this project means that you are helping us bring exceptional STEM professionals to classrooms across Colombian regions. We provide training and guidance to these professionals over 2 years. Let's work together so that students in Colombia learn STEM skills to create more powerful life projects and reach their maximum potential.

What is the problem?
Although Colombia has managed to make progress in education in the past few years, the country still has a lot of catching up to do when it comes to students from rural areas and from low-income families. To provide a proper education schools must include skilled professionals in STEM areas into their programs, especially since Colombia ranks as #18 out of 20 countries in Latin America in terms of STEM skills. This situation decreases the chances to fulfill students potential.

Potential long-term impact:
We have been working for 12 years to build a social movement that one day will ensure that all children and young people in Colombia have access to a high-quality education that will allow them to develop their full potential. Today, we see that this vision is a priority that requires transformative solutions which are current and contextually relevant. We have reached over 128,000 students by working with communities in 126 schools and 45 municipalities from different regions in Colombia.
