EFHou provides reliable, accurate information to those battling the disease and seeks to address the ongoing need for endo awareness, advocacy, legislative support and research assistance.
We are dedicated to the advocacy and education of endometriosis that affect over 175 million people worldwide.
Public awareness of endometriosis is necessary because it is estimated that 1 in 10 people assigned female at birth is affected by endometriosis.
Awareness helps the public understand that symptoms like irregular periods and pelvic pain are not something to be ignored and getting it checked is necessary. While there is no cure for endometriosis, there are treatments that can help ease the stress and complications of specific symptoms. The more people that are informed of endometriosis the better chances for early diagnosis.
