We seek out, support, and help fund high-impact strategies to improve institutional decision-making around the world.

The Effective Institutions Project is a global observatory of key institutions for outcomes that matter for human wellbeing and existential risk reduction. At its core, the Effective Institutions Project takes information from a wide variety of sources, synthesizes it through the lens of important institutions’ impact on our lives, and outputs exciting opportunities that trusted partners in our network can act upon.

We are the only organization globally with a holistic focus on institutions, which puts us in a unique position to prioritize resources effectively, detect interdependencies between global issues that evade organizations with a narrower focus, and gain access to high-level generalist leaders who might otherwise be reluctant to lend us their time and expertise.
