This non-profit was born out of my holding company and wanting to do good with some of the extra profit from doing business, those in the OC area might recognize me as the person who would pay rent/bills/cover emergency happenstances for a handful of needy people every 2-3 months. Well, even if you don't, I found a much more efficient and rewarding way to channel that sense of giving back and supporting human kind - enabling those of unfortunate/extenuating circumstances that threaten to derail or otherwise those who have the drive and passion and just want to accomplish their academic goals and actualize themselves. That's where this Fund comes in, grantmaking for those people - absolutely no strings attached. Of course each candidate will be vetted for integrity and and intentions but past that, if you are a grant recipient, that means you have passed due dilligence and assessments and are definitely trusted to do with the grant what it was intended for.
