🚨 Emergency Fundraiser for sweet Bella 🚨
- Raised
- $1,790
- Goal
- $5,000
Rescue is a risky business, especially right now. With adoptions at historic lows, our fosters are keeping more dogs than ever, and sometimes heartbreaking accidents happen.
On Christmas evening, one of our fosters rushed Bella to the ER after a sudden dog attack left her with a severe wound dangerously close to her rectum and colon. Bella required urgent surgery and a two-day emergency stay, leaving us with a $5,000 vet bill. She will need continued care to prevent infection and heal properly.
Bella is a young, under-confident Cane Corso who didn’t have the best start in life. None of this was her fault, and this incident was completely unanticipated.
We’re a small, grassroots rescue, and we need our community now more than ever. If everyone gives a little, it truly adds up.
Please consider donating or sharing to help Bella get fully out of the woods.Â
