Every day, time is running out. Every day, 500+ dogs sit in Dekalb, Fulton, and other county shelters throughout Georgia with their lives in limbo as spaces fill up. Rescuers and Good Samaritans pull them just in time — but without the right support, saving them isn’t enough.
Many of these dogs come from trauma and long shelter stays with no behavioral history to guide us. Without immediate, professional training, they risk failing in foster and adoptive homes — landing right back where they started.

Founded in 2009, Doggie Harmony is a non-profit (501c3) Atlanta-based rescue group focused on matching the right people to the right dogs in Atlanta. Available dogs are found by Good Samaritans, come from 'death row' of animal control, or are with owners who seek to rehome.
