PEPFAR provides nearly a fifth of HIV/AIDS funding in the country, which has more than 7 million people living with HIV, the highest in the world.

We at the Deaf Empowerment Society of Kenya, are therefore raising an emergency fund to enable us get back to work to prevent unnecessary harm and disruption to persons with disabilities in Kenya, those living with HIV/AIDs and those at risk
