David Fagerlee's Medical Centre Company Limited

David Fagerlee's Medical Centre (DFMC) is built for the community of Adilang Sub County in Agago District. The community suffered for about two decades from the Northern Uganda Conflict between the government of Uganda and the Lords' Resistant Army (LRA). This left the community highly vulnerable with lack of several social services given its distance from the central government. Vision To transform the health care experience of this community we serve by giving hope to the most vulnerable with love and dignity. Mission This private not for profit (PNFP) Medical Centre is committed to providing quality health care services that is accessible, affordable, in a caring and compassionate environment. Objectives To be among the leading health service providers in Uganda and with the sick as the primary beneficiaries. Improving clinical standards of health care in this community through education and community based services. To provide continuing community health awareness through education in order to promote health and prevent diseases. Delivering outstanding clinical care in a consistent and well-coordinated way. To provide a compassionate healing environment, fully involving patients in decision about their health care and encouraging them to take responsibility over their lives. Being responsive to the health needs of the communities we serve through regular meaningful involvement of all stakeholders and the communities.
