C& is the leading platform for contemporary art and thought from Africa and the Global Diaspora. Since 2013 C& has since unfolded into two online magazines in four languages, education programs, and projects that move between digital and physical space.

We have built a vibrant multi-regional network of artists, writers, and cultural practitioners, — creating free, accessible spaces for critical thought and artistic exchange. Our belief has always been simple: knowledge should be shared, not gated.

C& is made by a core team in Berlin, Nairobi, New York, and beyond alongside an extended network of contributors – from established art writers in Harare to emerging curators in London, from artists in Santo Domingo to critics in São Paulo. Together, we make C& a living, breathing platform where the global becomes personal and the personal becomes universal.
