About Team Brownie

Team Brownie will just be me, DB, and all those that care to sponsor me. My goal is to complete the full ride both in person and virtually. Attending the start in La Push, Washington for 7-10 days and then joining again in Pittsburg to make the final push into Dewey Beach.  

I am well aware of neurodegenerative diseases as my mother suffered with Parkinsons for 25 years. This is an opportunity to honor her and Laura and challenge myself because I have the capability that ALS is robbing Laura of.  

I grew up on the street behind Rex, and Kevin Houlihan. I met Todd through Rex and Kevin as kids playing tackle football on the neighborhood field " Wymans Hill" and capture the flag, into the late summer hours.  Years went by and I became reacquainted with Todd and Laura through common friends when I moved to Annapolis, MD in 2000. I am an avid skier, hiker, golfer and love spinning. I am looking forward to taking my spinning to the great outdoors and bringing more awareness to this horrific disease. Thank you to all those who have and are going to support TEAM BROWNIE! Come join us for a day ride.
