Donate today to help girls complete their education!
Did you know that if every girl in India completes her education and enters the workforce, it could boost our GDP by $770 billion by 2025?
Powerful, isn’t it?
But the harsh reality is that only 3 out of 5 girls in India make it to higher secondary education (GER, UDISE 2021-22). Challenges like societal norms, child marriage, and poor school infrastructure are major roadblocks compel many girls to drop out, halt their education, and, frequently, marry early.
It's time to address these issues and help every girl stay in school.
We at Child Rights and You (CRY), with our latest campaign Poori Padhai Desh ki Bhalai, are dedicated to empowering girls to complete their higher secondary education. We promote and support girls through four key focus areas:
1. Awareness and Enrolment Drives
House-to-house visits and community outreach ensure every girl's enrolment status is tracked and addressed through multiple rounds.
2. Fight against Child marriage and Labour
Raising awareness among the community and changing mindsets about the harmful effects of child marriage and child labour.
3. Inform about government schemes
Providing families with information on government schemes and benefits and connecting girls to flexible learning options through the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
4. Empower girls through collectives
Supporting girls through groups that build confidence and foster agency, with role models sharing success stories to inspire and encourage younger girls.
CRY aims to enrol 73000 girls and give them a chance to complete their higher secondary education.
Come, join us in this initiative of helping create a better, more equitable future for underprivileged girls by donating today. Kyunki unki poori padhai mein hi hai desh ki bhalai! (When girls complete their education, the nation prospers)
