Arts Education: Inspiring the Next Generation

Every child deserves the opportunity to explore their creativity, discover new interests, and experience the joy of making art.

The Center for the Arts is working to bring engaging, hands-on arts education into local schools, beginning with our middle school students. As funding for arts education in public schools becomes increasingly limited, we want to help ensure that young people continue to have opportunities to create, experiment, and discover new ways to express themselves.

Through this initiative, students will be introduced to new art materials, techniques, and creative experiences that encourage curiosity, build confidence, and help them see what’s possible through art.
