Our mission is to strengthen community, facilitate advocacy, and care for our neighborhood. Together in our diversity, we create cohesion, joy, and empowerment with all those who live, work, or learn in Cambridgeport.

All residents of Cambridgeport, families of children who attend Cambridgeport schools, and people who work in Cambridgeport are part of the CNA and are encouraged to sign up for one of our listservs, follow us on social media, and join us at events.

The CNA is run by a 7-person volunteer board which is elected annually by community members.

Build Community in Cambridgeport

We rely on your generous donations to host our free community events and sustain this nonprofit. Our goal for this event is $5000 and every dollar makes a real difference for us as we work toward the CNA's mission: We strengthen community, facilitate advocacy, and care for our neighborhood. Together in our diversity, we create cohesion, joy, and empowerment with all those who live, work, or learn in Cambridgeport. We try to keep our costs as low as possible, and often skip purchases and rely on volunteers. But because we operate with such a small budget, some additional funds will make a huge difference! With this anniversary fundraising, we have two goals: Invest more in free community events. This is our biggest cost: space rental, supplies, food for participants, and any of the many other miscellaneous things that go into bringing people together. Become more representative and introduce you to more neighbors. This year, we're investing more into spreading the word so new people can find us, striving to ensure that the benefits of neighborhood connectedness are shared more equally. Cambridgeport is already an incredible place to be. We hope to keep building upon that, because we know that strong communities make a huge difference, both for individual happiness and for group resiliency. Please consider donating to support the CNA!

A neighborhood is just a lot of people living nearby; a community is a place where people get to know and interact with each other in positive ways -- and its what CNA is helping create in C'port! Thanks to all the volunteers and leaders!

Thank you, CNA board, for your volunteerism and leadership. I’m grateful to live in a neighborhood where community gathering is facilitated.
I’ve marked my calendar and will hope to join for the celebration on Thursday evening.

What a pleasure to live in the best neighborhood in the best city in country (IMHO)! I was here '94-09 and am glad to be back.
