Double the Love

One Donation. Twice the Impact.

Every day, the Bloomington Animal Shelter cares for animals who need more than food and shelter. They arrive with broken bones, severe injuries, illnesses, heartworm disease, infections, and other medical conditions that require immediate veterinary care.

The **Double the Love** campaign helps ensure these animals receive the treatment they need to heal, recover, and find loving homes.

From **September 1–21**, every donation will be **matched dollar for dollar**, up to **$20,000**, thanks to an anonymous donor. That means your gift will have **twice the impact**, helping provide emergency surgeries, medications, diagnostics, dental care, and other lifesaving treatments.

Together, we can turn compassion into second chances.

**Join us in reaching our $40,000 goal and help give Bloomington's most vulnerable animals the care, and the future they deserve.**

As our animal population continues to grow, we remain committed to maintaining an **exceptional live release rate**. Even with the increasing number of animals in our care, we proudly achieve a **94-96% live release rate**, reflecting our dedication to giving each animal the chance for a happy and healthy future.

Bloomington Animal Care and Control

For Mati and her babies: Kindle, Blaze, Aiden and Ember. Born 6 days after being Mati being found on the streets. BACC helped me foster my first litter ever and now Mati, Blaze and Ember are my life's greatest joy. Aiden was adopted less that 2 hours after he was posted and Kindle by the end of the day. A very happy ending for everyone.

We appreciate all the good work folks at Bloomington Animal Care do within the community. Thank you! Given in memory of Momo.

In loving memory of Chester aka ‘Chessie’ Jbara. So many other animals will have a 2nd chance at a forever home!

Fostering cats and kittens helped my daughter survive her senior year of high school during COVID.

Thank you for everything you do for all of our future furry friends & family members 🩷
