We believe that the commonplace reliance on vaccines, drugs and treatment when faced by infection and disease, is aggressively prioritized in the developing world. Although important, in order for such strategies to be deemed truly accessible, effective and sustainable, they must reside within a diverse context of behavioral change, increased access to health facilities and improved living conditions; yet the challenges of health and shelter for the poor are still targeted as isolated constructs of development.
