I'm based in Canada and I hosted a fundraising dinner for those who wants to also donate to help families affected by the typhoon in our home country. Angay Buhay is one, if not the only organization that we trust and know, that would ensure our help would reach the families and communities that needs them. Angat Buhay has been supporting those affected by Typhoon Kristine in Naga City. Angay Buhay is a Non-Governmental Organization addressing the needs of the families in the farthest and poorest communities of the Philippines. Many neighborhoods in the Naga City and accross the Philippines are underwater, have no running water, electricity, or food to eat. Many families have no homes and no shelter. Angat Buhay has been sending truckloads of supplies to Naga City to help those who have been impacted heavily by this storm.

The Philippines is facing a severe humanitarian crisis as communities endure disaster after disaster. In just over a month, a **6.9 magnitude earthquake in Cebu**, followed by **Typhoon Kalmaegi (Tino)**, and most recently **Super Typhoon Fungwong (Uwan)**, have left families without shelter, clean water, and basic necessities. Homes have been damaged, livelihoods disrupted, and access to food and care remains limited.

**Angat Buhay** has been on the ground providing IMMEDIATE and URGENT support:
**food packs, bottled water, soap, blankets, hot meals, medicine, vitamins, and hygiene kits,** but with the recent typhoon the need continues to grow.
