In the era of AI and data, more than 1.2 million Filipinas have been forced to search for work overseas as they face fewer and fewer employment opportunities in their home country. From differently-abled women to stay-at-home mothers with little to no source of income, Elevate AIDA works to equip these women with the essential digital skills and upskilling opportunities for them to take their place in the ever-evolving digital world while staying close to their families.
What is Elevate AIDA?
In collaboration with Connected Women, Aboitiz Foundation champions Elevate AIDA (Artificial Intelligence Data Annotation), a training program designed to empower Filipino women by equipping them with in-demand digital skills needed to secure flexible, remote or home-based data annotation jobs.
This year, the program expanded to AIDA Plus, connecting even more Filipinos to opportunities in the digital economy by bringing future-ready training and employment connections closer to local communities.
Our Goals
For the first phase of this program, we aim to reach USD $100,000 that will be used to empower a community of 720+ Filipinos with livelihood opportunities in the digital economy.
