I am giving, to the extent I can this year, to Design Science Studio because I don’t know of another university, college, or cohort that so deeply nourishes and forms a rigorously trained, well-supported, lifelong network centered on systems thinking and Buckminster Fuller’s principles.

Design Science Studio is, to my knowledge, the most meaningful applied practicum and alumni network for navigating systemic change, accelerating exponential disruption and opportunity, and the poly-crisis—really the poly-opportunity—we now face. Who better to meet today’s sense-making challenges than people trained to help multidisciplinary, multicultural, and multigenerational communities find alignment, consensus, and applied collaborative solutions through emergence and systems thinking?

The ultimate trim tab is people as much as any technology or innovation. I am deeply grateful to contribute to Design Science Studio because this community of super-solutionaries is exactly who I most want to support—people equipped to apply systems enterprise thinking and technology in their own communities to make the difference we know is so urgently needed. Please join me in supporting and strengthening this vital global network. Like Roxy, I don’t understand why this isn’t core funding for everyone who genuinely cares about addressing the poly-crisis.
