The Independent Musicians Alliance (IMA) is an advocacy/resource organization for **professional musicians, teachers, and allies**, which is built on the foundation of the **power of solidarity**. *Through solidarity of purpose we will create a grass roots alliance, and change will occur.* We must put economic guarantees and respectful working conditions into achievable collective bargaining agreements.  The road map for success will be created by the collective alliance.
