I am very proud to be a board member for Vanguard Culture, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that works to advance San Diego's creative industry workforce with award-winning arts journalism, professional development for creatives and unique cross-industry cultural events.

This year, Vanguard Culture produced a full-length feature film which employed 37 creatives and was comprised of 62% BIPOC; hosted 7 FREE professional development workshops for creatives; and was awarded 16 Awards for Excellence in Journalism including Best Entertainment Website in San Diego.
