Join Felix to support International Rescue Committee
The International Rescue Committee, is working in the Mudug region of central Somalia. Somalia is the Horn of Africa's most drought-stricken country. Extreme drought has affected about 3.2 million people, with 245,000 relocated in search of food, water, and pasture. Water scarcity and lack of access to sanitation and hygiene facilities have heightened the risk of disease outbreaks, particularly in IDP camps and conflict areas. Desertification, increasing urbanization, hunger and malnutrition are all impacts of climate change.
