I’m proud to support FCAAM and its work.

**Great music should not be limited by the walls of a concert hall.**

Through **Beyond the Concert Hall**, the Foundation for Classical and African Art Music brings classical and African art music directly into the places where people live, gather, learn, and build community.

We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the beauty and power of live music—whether or not they regularly attend traditional concert venues. By presenting performances in libraries, churches, parks, community spaces, and other accessible settings, we create opportunities for audiences to encounter extraordinary music in familiar and welcoming environments.

Your gift helps us **pay professional musicians fairly, produce free and accessible performances, build community partnerships, and introduce audiences to music and composers they may rarely have the opportunity to hear.**

For some, it may be a return to music they already love. For others, it may be their **first live classical music experience**. And for many, it will be an opportunity to discover the richness of African art music alongside the broader classical tradition.

**Help us take the music beyond the concert hall—and bring it into the heart of our communities.**

Bring Classical Music Beyond the Concert Hall

Preserving and advancing classical and African art music through performance, education, preservation, and community engagement.

**The Foundation for Classical and African Art Music (FCAAM)** is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the performance, preservation, education, and advancement of classical music traditions, with particular emphasis on African art music and its global diasporas.

Through concerts, festivals, education, artist development, recordings, and community partnerships, FCAAM works to ensure that important musical traditions are not only preserved, but heard, studied, performed, and carried forward by future generations.

Our programs include the **Brooklyn Recital Series**, **The Bridge — Black History Month Festival**, **Juneteenth Music Festival**, and the **African Art Music Incubator**, alongside our **Beyond the Concert Hall** initiative, which brings classical music into libraries, churches, parks, community spaces, and other settings beyond traditional concert venues.

We are committed to expanding access to high-quality classical music experiences, increasing the visibility of African and diasporic composers and repertoire, supporting professional and emerging artists, and creating meaningful opportunities for communities to connect through music.

**Your donation helps support artist fees, free and accessible performances, educational programming, preservation and recording projects, community partnerships, and the continued growth of FCAAM's programs.**

**Preserving Heritage. Inspiring Excellence.**
