I am immensely proud to see the excellent community work by YTB members. And they are great representatives for YTB, especially when they have a YTB shirt to wear!

I gave because YTB is an idea that works, makes sense, and is an idea that needs to be better understood.  Timebanking works.  And Youth TimeBanking works especially well for youth.

YTB is devoted to bringing opportunities to youth. All donations go to youth projects and I want to support the "Every Girl Every Day" fundraiser, of course. I hope others will, as well.

YTBRN.org is a community effort that has a huge, positive impact on our family.  The variety of activities, the ease and simplicity of participation, and the accomplishment of learning while helping the community are a few of the many reasons we love YTBRN.   

Jerome is a former colleague whose enthusiasm and care for community inclusion has been evident throughout the years I’ve had the joy to work and volunteer with him.   

It is always very important to learn. The children need a secure place where it is possible to teach them. Hopefully the school house can rebuild as soon as possible.

YTB is a unique way to serve youth; YTB provides opportunities for youth to serve the community. It's been proven that humans need to feel as if they are contributing something worthwhile to the larger community. YTB's founder, Jerome Scriptunas, has a long history of commitment to youth and he is unconditionally devoted to YTB's mission.

They need to know how valued they are for WHO they are right now - not when they "grow up" or "graduate" or complete any one of the many goals that they have - but right now, where they are.  They ALL have something to give.  Their voice and strength is our future.  We need them, and we need them to know this.

Youth TimeBanking is a community service practice for supporting youth to increase awareness of community organizations and expand their social connections.  YTB is experiential learning in the interests of building community.  YTB introduces youth to principles of co-production and servant leadership.  When youth are involved with community, they strengthen their connections to their community and learn about Civic Engagement.  As youth continue with YTB they experience co-production -- a model in which each person contributes to the design and delivery of projects or services.

YTB's Vision is that all youth transition to adulthood with the experience of contributing service to their community. YTB is a system of service exchange that leverages the talents, capabilities, and energies of youth so that they are viewed as partners and co-producers to achieve shared goals and work towards shared visions in our communities.

Youth Earning Time Credits for Community Service Activities - Youth TimeBanking is a nonprofit that provides youth with opportunities through its network of community organizations. YTB is Timebanking customized for youth, a program of giving and receiving where youth earn YTB time credits for their service contributions. Youth take care of Little Free Libraries and community gardens, design logos, participate in virtual events, work on community crochet, and more. YTB time credits earn youth resources-services-opportunities, such as cell phone minutes, refurbished technology, sports gear, school supplies, arts-crafts supplies, books, coaching sessions, digital inclusion, lessons, etc. YTB is a youth-adult partnership in which youth develop strengths, make community connections, and experience something bigger than themselves.  YTB helps youth as they help others!
