WWX17 is a Texas‑rooted, globally engaged 501(c)(3) nonprofit and internationally recognized NGO delivering grief‑informed, justice‑rooted humanitarian support to individuals and families experiencing homelessness, housing instability, and systemic inequity. Our mission is carried forward through the intertwined legacies of Wesley Pearce Brown, Waymond Patrick Brown II, and the living legacy of Kristopher Xavier Brown — three sons whose lives, stories, and memory form the moral center of our work. Their names anchor the WayWes identity and shape the BluePrint that guides every outreach moment, every act of care, and every system‑level intervention.

Founded in 2015, WWX17 began as a small, family‑rooted outreach committed to meeting people where they are, honoring their survival, and delivering dignity‑centered support without conditions, barriers, or judgment. Over the past decade, that commitment has grown into a movement. By the end of 2025, WWX17 served 5,212 individuals, reflecting continued expansion of our grief‑informed stabilization model and a deepening of our community partnerships. This number represents not only people reached, but stories honored, families supported, and systems challenged.

Our work is built on the BluePrint: Justice, Love, Legacy, a replicable framework that transforms memory into motion and grief into guidance. Justice calls us to confront the systems that harm vulnerable communities. Love compels us to deliver care with tenderness, respect, and humanity. Legacy ensures that every action honors the lives of Wesley, Waymond II, and Kristopher — and uplifts the stories of every person we serve. This BluePrint is not theoretical; it is lived daily through outreach, advocacy, narrative shifting, and systemic redesign.

WWX17 provides essentials, stabilization support, advocacy, and community‑rooted care through multiple initiatives. Our quarterly high school essentials program ensures students have access to hygiene items, personal care products, and basic necessities through private funders, in‑kind donations, and personal contributions. In 2025, this program expanded to serve 1,100 students, strengthening our commitment to youth dignity and educational stability.

Wesley’s Diaper Pantry, supported by the Junior League of Fort Worth, Southwest High School, Dunbar High School, Eastern Hills High School, Arlington Heights High School, and CC Moss Elementary, provided infant and adult diapers and wipes to over 900 families in 2025. These supplies — often overlooked in traditional charity models — are essential for safety, health, and dignity. The pantry reflects our belief that care must be practical, immediate, and rooted in respect.

Our Mobile Winter Blast Give‑Away — held every March — delivered coats, blankets, gloves, socks, hats, hygiene kits, and mobile health services directly to homeless camps and underserved communities. In 2025, the Mobile Winter Blast reached 1,487 individuals, expanding its mobile health component and strengthening our pillars of access, dignity, and community engagement. This initiative is a cornerstone of our grief‑informed approach: meeting people where they are, without requiring them to navigate systems that often exclude them.

As an internationally recognized NGO, WWX17 advances humanitarian support through grief‑informed stabilization, narrative shifting, and systemic redesign. We challenge charity culture by honoring survival, elevating lived experience, and centering the voices of those most impacted by homelessness and inequity. Our workshops, movement‑rooted content, and public education initiatives ensure that every message, every training, and every outreach moment transmits clarity, care, and legacy. In 2025, WWX17 facilitated 42 grief‑informed workshops across Texas, equipping community partners, educators, and service providers with tools to deliver dignity‑centered care.

WWX17’s future includes expanded global activation, deeper community partnerships, and the launch of our nonprofit and NGO stabilization plan after December 2025. Our Annual Give‑Away events will incorporate Legacy Activation & Systemic Navigation components, including storytelling booths, youth‑led advocacy stations, legacy stations honoring Wesley and Waymond II, and continuity casework at 30/90/180 days to track housing, employment, and service uptake. These additions reflect our commitment to long‑term stabilization, narrative dignity, and justice‑rooted care.

Our grief‑informed stabilization model recognizes that homelessness is not only a housing issue — it is a grief issue, a systems issue, and a dignity issue. People experiencing homelessness carry layers of loss: loss of safety, loss of stability, loss of identity, loss of community. WWX17’s approach acknowledges these layers and responds with care that is relational, trauma‑aware, and rooted in legacy. In 2025, our stabilization support connected 612 individuals to housing navigation, employment resources, mental health referrals, and community‑based support systems.
